The morning after

Im always amazed at what my kids do! My 3 year old Hope is sick with a cold and hates it when I help her to blow her nose. So today she decided it was time for her to do it herself. I cant begin to tell you how happy this has made me and mom too. Growing up is a wonder and a joy to watch. For Christmas Santa got her a cooking set different from what she had. This one is all asian food and tools a wok and rice paddles and chopsticks. The food is rice and sushi and tofu. She loves to cook but now she tells us she is cooking Chinese food. I feel bad that we didnt get to any of the family functions because of the illness in the house. Vick is still down with the flu and we dont want to spread that around. I cant believe that the US dept of health relies on the brits to make our flu vaccine and that we could be left so open to this. I cant remember the last year I didnt get a flu shot and boy do I miss it now with the flu in my house. I was just out shopping for dinner and it was snowing. That was real nice to see, it is the right time of the year for that and it would be nice to go and play in the snow with the kids. Thats all for now
