fest review
I got home on Monday after pulling much of my stuff thru the mud left by 2 days of rain. I had both of my girls with me on Sunday night and felt real bad when I woke up in the morning to my 6 year old in a very wet sleeping bag. I got her dressed and off with my sister so I could break down camp it was not a whole lot of fun. The music this year was good even though the list of performers was only so so. Doc Watson and Mavis staples were great so were some of the lesser known performers but with no other big names the fest didn't have the zing it has had in the past. I had a great time watching my 11 year old Suzi find her wings and make new friends up there and how well she did with the adults at my sight. She is going to be a tough customer for any boy that wants to date her in a few years. The usual friends were there and I have found that many of them have much to deal with after fest. I hope that all the prayers and thoughts I am sending out will help. I will go back to the fest if they hold it next year but I will have many more ghosts to deal with on site. we will see if it is just too much to deal with and if I need to find another fest to work at and to make the summer feel right again.

A 'fest' of any kind sounds fun! Glad you and the girls had a good time, despite wet sleeping bags!
A note on my 'Dreams' post...
I wanted to say, for the record, that what was interesting about this, and post worthy is, that I haven't been dwelling on the past, it was so out-of-the-blue that I had to post about it. I had been walking along, minding my business when ...oh wait, I was going into Orange Colored Sky... LOL, but it applies.. Flash! Bam! Alakazam! There it was. :P Thanks for the sweet reply.
*off to go get what I should have always had* :D
