Exhausted

Well I had a great folk fest full of friends music both on stage and in song circles and a chance to remember why I love the music so much. I hope that I get the chance to take my kids there to camp in the next few years. Camping at the oasis with my fest family is a gift, I don't know why I have been given this gift but I will continue to cherish it. it rained on sat night and sun morning and afternoon but cleared for load out and on Monday it stayed dry till I got home. I do hope that every one else at the oasis got home safe and dry. Today Ill spend drying out the rest of my gear and putting most of it back where it belongs. As I close this short post to get a cat nap in before I go to pick up some misplaced rental equipment I want to just say thank you to all of my friends who have stayed with me thru the last year and a couple of months and made me see that I was important to them.

I LOVE YOU ALL

It has been a bad day

Well I just don't know quite how to put this out there but here it is. On Friday Steve Dunn died. He was a wonderful person who fought thru cancer only to loose his life to meningitis. I was also told today that on Friday the pastor of the church my wife went to died. This pastor remembered my birthday every year and wished me a happy Passover each and every Easter. I don't know how to make sense of the losses or to feel that there is a kind and loving god when things like this happen. I need to get back to the work on my desk but I did want to say something about these passing and not let them slip by without my saying that they will be missed in my life. Susan and Chris Dixon spent many months thinking and praying for sues brothers recovery as did I and I wish them and the pastors family peace and my prayers for them as they deal with their loss.

My love and prayers to all today
Jeremy

Is 46 old?

Well I guess it is just how you look at things but I know that working from early to late is not as easy as it once was. I am just into the home streak of the 2nd auditorium for pcom, and I haven't been so tired in a long time. Close to 100 hrs on this one and the finishing touches on the 2 rooms are yet to come. It is hard for me to admit that Im getting older. I don't look that old why should it be that I cant run on 3 or 4 hours of sleep? I do like the work I do and I will say that I don't ever do exactly the same job twice and that keeps me going. I hope that as I get some of the new kids who I have working now trained it will get better. Laura and Frank should be able to help in the field as well as in the shop. On the home front Hope was sick for about 4 days and then my wife got a touch of it this week but we all seem healthy now. My daughter Suzi just finished the 5th Harry potter book and is now ready for the new one that just came out. It is just 3 weeks till the Phila folk fest and I cant wait to see the show this year. Maybe Ill even have the disks edited from last fest by then. Ah well. Im going to go pick up the kids and go shopping then maybe Ill have time to get the motorcycle out for a quick ride. That's all the news for today from the hole in Conshohocken PA. Be well
