Christmas 2007

This is the time I tend to look back and see what the year has done to me. All in all it has been a good year, The house is paid for now and I have real health insurance that I am not paying for the kids are doing great and for the first time in 8 years my wife Vicki is not in school. We seem to be getting our lives back and the issues that make us all nuts are getting better. I am looking at the many trying things in the past year and can say that most of them will not return to bother me in the new year.

In the past year I have seen my life change, getting older, I see that my kids will have a much different world to live in then I did. I have adapted to the computer world they are growing up with it. It will make the world much smaller for them and their choices in life for better or worse will be controlled by the was we leave the world to them. I hope and pray that the level of violence we see today is not what we leave them with. I also hope that the way we treat the environment will improve in the next few years so we leave them a world that is not balanced on the edge of global warming and energy shortages.

Ill miss having the good council of my mother now more then ever as my children grow. While she is still with us in body her mind is gone and I miss her. Others are in failing health and I know that this coming year will be a hard one in that way.

I cant close the year without saying that I am happy and that things are going to get better I know that it is just the way of the world to go thru life and death you cant change that. So here is to the new year to my friends and to better things to come. may 2008 bring you good health and good cheer. Thank you for your friendship and love.

I do love you all
